Default GRC Turbo Intercooler

GRC just launching this new product today for TRX-4 Land Rover. As we all know the the Land Rover body is poor of ventilation. therefore these little accessories might be helpful to cool down your ESC and motor, especially if you lived in hot climates area.

Like what you said here just to cool off your servo or just for scale point??

The grill looks pretty good.

Though the servo is clearly in the way, with the inner fenders and sliders there's not much room for the air to easily escape. I guess air could eventually get to the electronics... likely not effective tho.

My thoughts exactly.

Grill looks great.

Most of the air from the is going to get stopped by the servo so this certainly won't be effective at cooling the motor.

Great way to spend money on a solution to a non-existent problem.

If you need these fans you have some serious issues. Looks cool though but they make no sense.

They "look" cool, but won't be actually doing much, if any, real cooling.

Those tiny PC component fans do MUCH better when mounted directly on top of what they are supposed to be cooling.

The very small fan blades will not push the air at any appreciable amount from any real distance.

That's why they are normally bolted directly on top of aluminum heatsinks - quite effective when at most a couple of millimeters away.

Here's the proper use of dual miniature fans:

Hmm,

I'd guess they could be made into a cool scale feature...
What about turning the fans around, so they blow outward of the body? And then wire in a smoke generator.
It should simulate a blown radiator quite good, I think....

Even if they aren't really cooling anything besides the servo, I like having fans where fans would be on a 1:1

According to their product packaging, their website should be www.grcracing.com, but the site seems to be not working.
You could also find all their products on RCmart or on Aliexpress.
