| Rock lights on a TRX-4 Bronco? hey all I am finding the rock lights for the Defender but not the Bronco. It still has spots for the lights though. If I get them for the Defender and pt them in the Bronco will it be a pain if I don't have the inner fenders on the body? I was going to put the light controller in the body also. Any help is greatly appreciated |

yes it will be a pain to mount them without the inner fenders. the defender rock light kit will fit the bronco kit as the bronco wheel base is shorter.

You'll be good. The rock lights drop right into the Bronco/kit fender wells just fine. Installed them in my kit build this weekend. Just curious why you'd want to install the controller in the body. There is a spot that it screws onto on the floor pan near the 2sp shift servo. Better to keep the weight of the controller down lower and off the body.

If your just talking about the rock lights, those attach to the fenders which on the bronco and kit are attached to the chassis and not the body. If you have the controller mounted to the floor pan then there is never any need to disconnect anything from the body because nothing is attached to the body. If you also have headlights/tailights/lightbar then the light controller comes with a 3to1 wire harness that makes it so you only have to remove one connection to remove the body. Hope that makes sense. | |

If u use the org Traxxas Controller yes u use the same spot. But the Traxxas light controller ist Just an overprized DC/DC converter which put out 3v with max 500 mA. I use a cheaper one from the bay 4 converters just 2$ include. Shipping. Gesendet von meinem Pixel 2 XL mit Tapatalk |
