Default Bronco upgrade

Hi guys,

I just ordered the Hobbywing Quicrun WP Brushed esc and Power HD LW-20MG Digital Servo 20kg for TRX-4 Bronco. I am wonder if ill need a bec? oh and 15cm servo lead extension should be good right?

Servo Operating Voltage: 4.8 ~ 6.6 DC Volts

Esc BEC Output: Switch Mode 6V / 7.4V@3A

That quickrun 1080 has a built in bec rated at 3 amps, you'll be fine with just that. I run a 500oz savox and that works great.
Just remember that when you program it with the program card select 6 volts, the Traxxas mini servos and that power hd servo will more than likely let the smoke out if you set it for 7.4 volts.
As for the extension lead, 6 inch / 15 cm should be just fine.

Also pickup the metal TRX4 servo horn from either Traxxas, Samix, or Hot Racing...the Trx4 uses a odd 22mm spacing. The Traxxas, and Hot Racing horns only comes in 25t. If you go with a Samix be sure to get the 25t...they offer a couple different ones.
