Well she’s on her own feet, no longer being supported jacks. While I don’t have a custom chassis, the extensions will work now. I may need to play around on the leaf springs. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

When I saw the first pic of it sitting there with the box and the stretched frame I was like man I hope he puts the hood back to original length it would look so much better...and now voila...looks way better like that...it's coming interested to see the finished and painted body Side not you should round out the rear lip of the roof it'll look better than the hard line you currently got going |

Thanks Fanaticrc, yeah at first I liked the longer hood, but the more I got it together and playing around with it I wasn't liking it any more. So I cut back the original length and then just cut the fenders out more. Yeah I'm planning on rounding it out a bit more. I've still got a ton of finish work to do, but it's slowly coming along, I'm hoping that with me being off all next week I should be able to get some more work done. I know I need to play around with the leafs, because as of right now the seem really stiff and kinda of laggy, if that even sounds right.

Well i finally got back to working on this project. Seeing that I wanted to finish my custom ifs rig. Well here is what I got accomplished today after working on it for 6+hrs. I made some mistakes and some set backs, but overall I like how it’s coming along. |

So small update. I’ve been messing with a different chassis, but still using the stock transmission. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Been working on some custom designs for the leaf mounts in 3d printed metal. Overall not the most happy the results from shapeways, but I can live with them, for the being. Here is the results of the design and how there mounted. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

And just for grins, pictures with the tracks installed. Sad thing is I’m considering going back to the factory chassis and ditching the leaf on the front. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Well I’ve started the interior, but I think I need to browse RPP and see what interior parts I can find. I’m not liking the larger steering wheel or some of the shifters I have on hand. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

So here is an update from over the last week. Started on the interior and getting a few other things done. Unfortunately I screwed up the 3d printed skid plate / body mount by not putting some of the holes in the right spot. So now I updated the design and sent it off again. So here some updates, I got the body mounts/ skid plates and they fit good. Now I just need to design the chassis rails and find someone who can cut them for me. The interior is almost done, just need to finalize a few things before sanding and painting. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
