Hey guys a few weeks ago I got a trx 4 bronco, awesome setup stock but I made a post anyway asking members what to do first. I upgraded to a savox 1256 I had laying around, got a Bec unit, and changed to a 9t pinion. Also added wheel hexes with +3mm offset, mip +4mm wide track axles, brass portals and got the Comanche body. What bumpers would you run with the much narrower Jeep body ? Are those the bumper mounts poking out on either side?? I'm mystified by the proportions of that thing, the Comanche body seems to have dropped right on the wheelwells... so I just can't see why those bumper mounts are so far offset! I put the RC4WD metal winch bumper on my trx-4Runner, looks pretty solid. If that is really the rear bumper mount sticking out though, I think even flipping a front mount around is going to make it hard for ya to fit a rear bumper. |

Thanks guys! I had to do a lot of cutting to keep the tires from rubbing. If you want I'll get a picture next to the bronco shell. I might have extended the bumper mounts out a little bit to protect the new Comanche shell in case I bumped into something before getting proper bumpers. |

That looks really nice When I bought my KIT it was between the 73 Bronco and the Comanche bodies. I would look at the front and rear Rock Shield Bumpers from SSD, they tuck in nicely and the frame mounting holes are the same as the SCX10.2 so they will bolt right up. Give SSD a call and find out the exact width. The only mod I would do is grind off the d-ring mounts so that you do not have any hang ups on rock or logs. Maybe if someone here has that Cherokee body that can measure the width for you. Front SSD00147 Rear SSD00174 Last edited by ScoJac; 07-12-2018 at 08:12 AM. |

x2 on the rockshield bumpers. What’s your rear body post situation for the bed? Truck looks good sir! I like those hubs with the stock wheels. |

Wow those bumpers look great I'm going to take some measurements now after work. Really sleek looking setup I was able to mount the body using the stock front mounts but ordered Traxxas xo-1 rear mounts. Took a little bit of cutting and a trip to the drill press to get them to the right height. I'll get some pics later Thanks for the comments and help guys |

Forgot to upload some pictures of the mounting system I had to come up with for the pickup body. I used Traxxas X0-1 body mounts which fit the shock towers great. In their stock form they still don't get the body low enough. I had to drill out new body clip holes but wasn't bad when using the drill press and small vice. Wish everything was as easy to drill as plastic lol.
