Can you share a picture of them installed on the wheels with the body head on, front and back? I bought the same SCX10.2 JKU body, so I want to see how the offset will look (will +6 have too much poke?). Also, I'm on mobile and don't want to look back a few pages, so do you have portal covers, and are the rotor hubs compatible?

Ideally I want to find out before end of day Monday so I can take advantage of RPP's Cyber Monday coupon.

Edit: I was leaning on the +3mm based on info that the regulars were a hair shorter than .225 VP hubs.

Here's the difference with the +6 rotor/hub and stock hubs. The stock is on the driver side and +6 on passenger side. I went with the 2012 fenders versus the 2017 CRC ones. I also have the rear Knights Custom body armor. That is going to give a slight more to the fender off the body.

I really thought hard about it (before you even say it Animal yes you did smell something burning ) but I was only giving up like 30oz torque running it at 7.4. The other side of it figured I am going to have the same steering feel throughout a run versus lost torque feel throughout the run. I think also (but I could be wrong) the servo is going to run cooler with a lower constant voltage.

If I am wrong please correct me on this assumption

I have managed to get most of the wiring done. So far really pleased with it. No huge rat nest of wires

Great looking truck, I've been eyeing these hard plastic wrangler bodies for a while now.

Very nice build with a meticulous finish and you've made some nice performance upgrades. ..

The nicest thing about the TRX-4 is its a new platform with lots of potential.

Thanks for the great comments

I like to try to replicate things I see on Jeeps in the real world. It drives me crazy to see wires and other bits and bobs out of place.

Unfortunately I haven't finished it up so stay tuned

Did you have to put an extension on the wires from the ESC to the receiver? I put mine up there and looks like they will be short just a bit. Wasn’t 100% sure so I figured I’d ask before I take mine apart and find out I need to run to the Hobby store. Love the build by the way good work.

Super nice build!

I've always liked the Axial Jeep bolt-on fenders...

I found that RC4WD carries both aluminum and steel (CCHand, the last pic) Jeep fenders, although some of them are discontinued:

I have seen those first hand at the LHS. I thought they were to heavy. I actually like the Axial ones too. Combined with the Knight Custom body armor they really stand out. The body armor weights is almost nothing which is nice

At the speed I am going it will be a year before it even runs on the rocks other than just testing things it still hasn't rolled under its own power yet. I keep putting it off but maybe the Jeep Festival coming up will get me motivated to finish it up oh wait it would still almost be a year for it to actually run
