I replaced my front diff lock cable finally and set my endpoints on the micro servos to help them from over throwing and burning up, I love that hacked Flysky radio!

I got a non hacked 6 channel flysky and setting those endpoints was the first thing I did.

Breaking the rules of this thread... not my TRX4!

My buddy went out of town last week but had recently mentioned that he was frustrated that he just bought some wheels but couldn't get them installed properly onto his D110. He also said that he thought the stock plastic servo horn was stripped. He brought the rig over and I immediately saw that the factory hex's were too narrow with the offset of the new wheels. The servo horn was also indeed stripped and the screw was completely loose. He left the rig at my house and I told him that he needed to order up some 8mm hexes and a new horn, and that we could get things squared away whenever he got back.

Well... he's like a brother to me so I decided to instead order the hexes and alum horn myself while he was gone. I also decided to address some other things that he had mentioned or that just needed to be done. This guy's been working a lot lately and just hasn't had the time, the money, or the energy to spend on his rig so I wanted to at least help out a little bit.

> Exterior of body was coated in dried mud and dust so I cleaned and detailed the heck out of it.
> Replaced OEM hexes with YR brass 8mm hexes.
> Inspected and torqued all necessary suspension component and linkage screws.
> Replaced plastic horn with new metal horn. Also thread-locked it.
> Did some trimming on the servo plate in order to center the servo properly and reset radio trim to center.
> Thread-locked all functional hardware on wheels ( 44 total screws).
> Inspected & tightened if necessary all non-functional bead-lock ring screws.
> Cleaned/ conditioned all 4 tires.
> Painted gloss black the 4 silver screws that hold the middle push-bars onto the front bumper.
> Pained satin black the 2 screws that hold the rear 3Dp ladder to the rig. Ladder was also broken so I used super-glue to repair it.

That was about it and more needs to be done but it looks so nice now and is ready to hit the trails again! I think he's gonna be very surprised lol.

Mounted these bad boys on some new SSD wheels I picked up today These tires are crazy soft - the side walls feel like an inner tube.

I took mine across the road to the creek and was amazed just how unstoppable this Sport really is.

Got a bit of wrench time yesterday with smaller half of the Mud Pie Pit Crew. Glad my girls like to turn wrenches. After the exterior paint job sat for a few days I flexed the body around a good bit. Not seeing any of the Krylon Fusion paint trying to pull away from the lexan. We put the fenders, grill & lights back on. Have a bit of work to do to the cage before I reinstall it. Shooting to have it back on the rocks by this weekend.

Thanks. I converted my bronco to sport body. Just needed the narrow inner fenders and rear body mount. Waiting for more Traxxas scale accessories to come out for the other side.

I really like the 15wt too, but right now I haven’t added any weight. I sure it will still be great once I do.

From Traxxas.com
The rack weighs about the same as the sport body. But it looks cool.

Lcg battery tray from shapeway, little bit of a bitch to fit and running custom fitted honcho body made for lots of cutting and trimming but got it to work.
