Looks killer! What does the roll bar attach to? Underside of the body or the chassis somewhere? Nobody ever shows the mounting method.

It attaches to the body with screws from the bottom of the bed. Roll bar is made by Dixieland R/C.

I'm talking about mine with the hood scoop on it unless you're talking about the other guy.

Raise bumper even more ...little body trimming required.

Looks good! Now, slide it way back into the body for even more clearance. It will really help. Of course, you will have to trim the body quite a bit more, but it's worth it!

Sorry can't do lol ...i like to keep the truck still looking scale , I know what you mean but I personally think there is a limit between function and appearance , they way its now will and does go over with minimal effort and still looks good at it

Idk, the ARB bumper on my jeep liberty deletes/replaces everything below the grill. I dont think cutting off the body below the grill wouldnt be scale. You wouldnt have faux brake ducts still sitting behind your giant steel bumper on a 1:1.

You're talking about different style body , the sport front is curved ...Jeep is a different story cos I have done it , when running a full size bumper you'll run into tire clearance issues on full turn and compression with tire hitting the bumper .
Bumper tug not always works or look right ..and with body im running its really out of place.

I got you. Yeah, it's easy to go too far in the search for clearance! Your truck looks great.

Got the trucks out to play yesterday, although the run was cut short when the front electronics tray on the Comanche snapped (CI tray). It was an awkward tumble and I think a rock lip caught the battery, no good.

Otherwise a great run, a few pics and a clip...

I started a build of sorts today. Ebay trx4 chassis but using Vaterra Ascender frame for its adjustable size. With a body i already own lets see what happens. Also gave my trx4 tactical a new Holmes Hobbies 550 21T motor and hobbwing 1080 esc. Diffs are now spools no more locker, Going to reinstall my 2sp transmission gearing. And all will be ready to go.

Size: 183.8 KB new beef stick crossover from beef tubes. It’s gone together fairly easy. Only thing I ran into was with harden shaft and shafty spool, the shaft has to be trimmed to fit proper. No real issue. Vanquish lube arrives in a bit and I can button her up.
