Don't know if he will get around to posting these but this truck came out too good not to post.

I made the grille and tailgate to Raptor up my buddy's TRX4 Sport.

Like.

And why I'm putting DODGE on my Element but Jato says it's a Ford Ranger.

That looks great SVT! Just seeing the FORD on there makes it more believable that it is a Ford! Awesome job!

Got my TRX4 K5 Blazer clear body painted and trimmed out. I hate masking and painting so I went with a single color. It's not flashy but it reminds me of a black 74 1/2 ton short bed C10 that I owned back in the 70s.

@ Inspector86 The black paint on that body looks damn good on it's own but the wheel/ tire combo just knocks it outta the park... Awesome job!

Only on the second attempt bud. Took a different line and the AXE did it's work, slow and easy.
A mate of mine is trying out different weight brass wheels that he turns.
We currently testing a set that sit at 520grms per wheel.
Phenomenal difference in the climbing ability.

Well, not specifically done today but over the past week I have:

-Finished my sloppy body mod.
-Made water/UV resistant scale license plates.
-Installed a Holmes Hobbies 27T Trailmaster motor.
-Installed a Holmes Hobbies SHV500v2.
-Swapped to a 9T Robinson Racing pinion.
-Installed Treal steel drive shafts.
-Installed a bottom skid plate and chassis skid plates.
-Installed Injora front and rear metal bumpers with lights.

I cant wait to get out for our local fathers day scale comp!

Loving everyone else's work here. Keep it up!

Installed a new servo:

Upped the HW1080 BEC to 7.4V and it supposedly gives 33 kg at that voltage. Definitely seems stouter than the DS3225 I had in there.

Only complaint is the wire doesnt have any extra length. My DS3225 had enough length to run through the hooks on the right frame rail, this does not and kinda has to run over the top of the motor.

Install a 6" servo extension cable.

Just FYI, the stock radio receiver is rated at 6v so while setting the HW1080 to 7.4v output will increase the servo power, you also potentially risk burning out the RX. Just Sayin!

Got out for some trailing in Colorado, great views and a nice trail at dinosaur ridge. Plus, got to see a dinosaur footprint.
