@ Up'n'Over- Love those wheels with that body!

Haven't done much to my TRX4's lately but finally did a few things last week that I've been meaning to do for a while. Had been bugging me that the rig needed some more little details/ scale accessories.

> Installed CB antenna on drivers side rear.
> Painted the roof... finally! Tape/ sand/ clean/ re-tape/ self etching primer x3/ gloss white x3. So happy with this mod!
> Took it a step further and cut down the rear body posts. Then sanded and painted 'em white. Looks much nicer and blends in better than the taller black posts.
> Installed reflective red/ clear/ amber tape disks inside rear light housings ( 6 total). Lights look more 3-dimentional and scale now imo.
> Had a rear license plate but it was a bit smaller than 1/10 scale and it was simply clear taped onto a black plate and secured with a single 2mm cap-head screw... not scale at all. Removed it and instead installed a scale-size Texas plate with black frame and smaller hex-shaped mounting screws/ nuts... much more scale looking, more lo-profile, and more secure. Love it!

More mods coming but that's it for now. Was well over 100 degrees w/ heat-index here today but got in about an hour of very light duty crawling anyway. God, Texas summers suck!

Ran a current draw profile on my SRT servo. Normal running at 7.4v it draws around an amp and under load it draws around 3 amps. So, gonna go with a BEC and the Mamba Micro X.

Finished my hard body. Came out a bit sloppier than I wanted but overall I'm happy with it.

Also, ignore the grille. My dog may or may not have gotten ahold of it and I may or may not have had to half of it off...

Mounted a brand new set of Canyon Trails - yeah baby! FWIW, a worn out Canyon Trail tire is a full 10 grams lighter than a new one.

I run my trx4 sport bumper mount upside down for more clearance..trimmed the body to accept the bumper tucked / trimmed the body to follow the top bumper line down the fender / rear for clearance. Bumper should work now..without dragging the body in it's wake.

Bumpers moved up and in (flipped front mount and switched to a front style mount in the rear), sliders raised 12mm, cage/rack delete, went back to 4.75 Hyrax (predator)...

Still not 100% sold on my paint job, but I'll run it till it needs replacing, lol

raised the skid plates a little bit. Regular screws are m3 0.5 pitch 10mm..hardware store had 1/4th inch spacers, so ran with 16mm screws. I wanted to go 10mm raise, to tuck the body..but they didn't have any spacers. Turns out, 1/4 outer diameter spacers fit in perfect. Here's some pics of what I used exactly, and the gap difference in the plates..well, the gab is completely gone now.

m3 0.5pitch 16mm

These spacers fit perfect. 1/4th outer diameter, and the .115 inner diameter for m3.

Pic of how they fit. They actually snap into the running board.

Here you can see the original gab between the outer board / inner board

Then after install..closed gap

I also raised my sliders but I just printed up some 11mm spacers on my printer. Other than she's been obviously top-heavy so she went on a diet last night:

DE-caged
DE-lockable differentialed (never seemed to use it)
DE-inner fendered

and while I was in there I added OD/UD gears and man, it was like a whole new truck today. I love it again!
