So i went and got the tactical for a very good price on here ( like new, not even a scratch and got some extras to boot) , pics in a bit, nothing ground breaking, i just drove it stock for a couple of runs and proceeded to install a better servo and swapped a 1080hw esc.

So i was at comp on wednesday and saturday with this basically stock unit, except for hw1080 esc and jx 32kg servo, apart from the less then stellar driving on my end and the heavy body(spare tire and all) i placed both times in the middle of the pack, 6th and 7th place of 14 attendants and only 20-30 points separating me from a podium finish, against some heavy tuned ax10's and ascenders, which leads me to believe as experienced on both the defender and bronco, these rigs can be competitive with not much modification and driving practice. pics in a few.

well the trx4 did pretty good, my son drove on his first ever comp in novice class, 6th out of 15 runners, not bad, the tires did outstandingly well on his truck. as soon as i get the pics i'll post up some.
