Been searching around and haven't found any pics yet. Has anyone tried the new (re-issued)Proline Ambush body on the Trx-4 yet?

How did it work out for you?I'm going to be putting one on my TRX 4. I know I'll have to trim the inner fenders, but other than that it looks like it would work. Sent from my HTC Desire 626 using Tapatalk |

I am putting on a 66 bronco. Oddly the wheelbase seems sub 12 inch. This is a pic of a sport (12.3 inch WB) with the body on it. I have a build thread on this joe. Should work everything out soon. Note that the bronco was narrower than the stock body. I had to lose the sliders for a few reasons, but the bronco’s sunken interior prevent much flex. Ambush may provide for some. ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I see what you mean about the wheel base not lining up, but 1:1 early Bronco's are a shorter wheel base. It looks like you could shorten the rear links to get the rear wheels in the wheel opening. The front looks like its dead on. Was yours a LWB Defender 110 RTR originally? Here's how the Ambush looks on a kit version, which is a shorter wheelbase. It took quite a bit of hacking on the inner fenders to make them clear the pinched front and rear. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my HTC Desire 626 using Tapatalk |
