| has any one tried the Tactic TSX107 micro servo?
As stated above, I am tired of the crap Traxxas diff and shift servo...complete junk gears. I am looking for a new option. I see the Blue Bird option but coming from Hobby King it will take a while to get here so I was looking for an Amazon Prime option and came across the Tactic TSX 107. I was one of the very few 25 spline micro servos that I have found. |

Ive read as much as i can on this with no anwser. I think the main proble with using other servos is not being able to set end points. I hope somebody comes up with sometghing. |

The TRX4 shift servos are not as bad as people claim. Yes they are small and weak but they only have to move a light weight linkage and if you set the servo savers correctly per the TRX4 manual they work just fine. I have four TRX4s now and maintain a 5th TRX4 belonging to a neighbor with over 500 total run time hours. Over the past 16 months I have replaced exactly one 2065 servo and that one was my mistake.

I used full size servos in my rig with a four channel radio. With a two speed, Castle aux wire and two diff lock servos it was my only choice besides buying a new 6 channel radio. Not bad for 70 bucks and they work great.

A radio with all the adjustments is a great thing to have. There is another option for you to consider: End point adjuster for two position channel Or Wireless Winch and Diff Locker Controller |
