Absolutely love the color combo!

My vote is for those SSD slots. They are spot on for that body.

So I have been traveling and not dedicated as much time to the build as I would have liked. I spend 3 hours on it today. I replaced the stock servo with a 25KG unit that is very fast - think it’s like .08 seconds. I wired the front lights and of course performed the heart replacement - Mamba X. Since I always like a little too much speed I went with the 3800kv for this rig. My D110 uses the 2850KV but we know the ratios are a little different with the SPORT.

Also fitted some new SSD shows with pit bulls on them. I will have to see what works best but I like the overall size of the 4.5 inch a little better but hate the wheel well gap. I have some fender flares coming that may help to reduce it but who knows.

I’m thinking another set of lights for the bumper would be a nice touch. Might also hit up MyTrick RC to get the warm white lights instead of the blue/white ones.

I also found out that 7 inch action figures do not fit in the seat and cage. I ordered a few 6 inch figures that may work better (hopefully). The selection of 6 inch figures is kinda lame but no driver is worse. I’ve got a cool period correct steering wheel for this one too that I will drop in once the driver is set.

.

The Fan Model servos are cheap, waterproof, fast and strong. They are at the top of my list for any rig, crawler or racer.

Hear ya. Remember that the body is bobbed. Wheels and tires are TBD. I have a set of cheap Chinese wagon wheels I will be mounting up at some point. Ready for the electronics to get done.

She’s a runner! 17T and 3800KV. Crawls pretty well with the expo set on the Mamba at 20% voltage with a 50% trigger pull.

Now to arrange the wiring and decide on another set of lights for the front to complete the electronics. Also threw on an SSD aluminum TRX-4 servo horn.

So I still have some to do. Scale stuff, steering wheel, raise the cage a bit so the driver fits, etc. I took it to a constructions site that opened up a week ago. It did awesome. Yes - I could have used more aggressive mud tires but I really liked the way these looked once dirty. They have the stock pitbull single stage foams. Decent speed and this is surprisingly a great crawler. With more weight it would be fantastic. Not the dirt transition - from clean to less clean....
