Default Jebster's TRX4

So I've had this truck for a year. Haven't ran it much but it was bugging me that it didn't fit in my fleet (I had the grey body). That led to a new body that I painted to match my usual color, tamiya ps19 camel yellow. Added new bumpers, scale accessories to the body and a rock light kit. Had some brass upgrades I picked up cheap that I finally installed. Like the rig much better now. See pics below.

What I really plan on doing with this truck is have it trailer different toys. I have a jet boat, swamp boat and general atv I'm going to pull behind it. Still working on adding hobby grade drivetrain for the atv. The trailer is going to be unique in that it will be reconfigurable depending on the load.

More projects!!

That will look pretty rad!

I wonder how the new limited edition yellow defender looks compared to your yellow. They look very similar.

I have that Polaris RZR as well.

Where did the airboat come from?

i thought the Polaris would look nice. I've seen thread on here where people put a real drivetrain/suspension underneath. on my project list.

the airboat was an ebay purchase. i believe it was called the gartt swamp dawg. i painted it up and did the steering servo mod (to fit a bigger battery). the only thing i wasn't happy about was the esc that came with it was shot out of the box so i need to get a new one.

i had started my project before traxxas announced the new yellow defender. while mine is called camel yellow it definitely leans towards an orange color, which i like.

More than likely, your paint job will be more pleasing to you than if you were to have waited for the RTR body release, which they'll probably do, a little while after the full RTR release. I bought the Adventure Edition (orange) body set, and was little disappointed because it looked different in person than online. Not that it was awful, but I think I would've been more satisfied if I'd painted up my own clear body.
