Exterior voltage monitoring idea

This may be a silly idea but I tried this out this morning. The reason I do it is that I go on long hikes with the truck as a fitness routine and I would like to have a little warning of when my batteries need to be changed.http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5baf94c5...929_090415.mp4
