| Stock ESC removal
The stock trx4 esc has its wires run through a small plastic retainer right below the diff lock servos, its tight with all the wires . Do i need to remove the the servos to get my esc wire out or is it possible to slide it through? Thought i would as before i perform this task tonight. any other tips for replacing the esc and steering servo before i dive in? Thanks |

The servo holder is loosened with two screws, that's fast and simple. I replaced the ESC with a 1080, getting the XL5 out was the simplest part. The 1080 has a bit short cable and needed more work. |

No need to remove the servos. Will be a little easier though if you unbolt the receiver box from the chassis. |

I had to remove the Rx box to get mine out but not the servos. Worked out ok because I had to turn the Rx box around for my new wire running layout anyway. My YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9c...rIucM37i_nx3aw |
