Default Problem with hyrax 1,9 on trx6

Gents ,

I installed proline hyrax 1.9 tires on 2.2 beadlocks with crazy crawler wp foam.
Now the problem is that the tires toughing each other at the back wheels of the trx6
The hyrax is a 4.73 (120mm) tire vs stock 4.60(118mm)

Could it be the foam that stretches to tyre to big ?or any other ideas?

Thx

Bart

It's either the foam or the 2.2 wheels expanding the Hyrax too far. I had Hyrax 1.9's on mine without issue (Proline 2 stage foam and Gmade AR beadlocks - both 1.9).

I'd think your foams could be trimmed down a bit to get you some clearance. I've never mounted 1.9 tires on 2.2 wheels so I'm not sure how much of an effect that has on the tires o.d.

Thx vinnie

The crazy crawler wp foam is very firm and dens structure .maby they strech the tire to far . I will compare against the stock foam

Might be able to trim them but wouldnt you lose the grooves around the outside?

Spacing the axles a little looks like a nightmare. How bad is the running? Is it just the very center of the tread?

Idd . The grooves on the outside makes the insert so good acc. the website . I could trim them a bit to see what it takes .

I order the proline dual stage to have a alternative . Should be deliverd today so i can compare

Ok i found what was wrong .
The beadlocks are 2.2 , the foam 1.9
The inner ring streches the foam to far out and puch to tire to expand.
I trimed the inner hole to 2.2 and it fits now . The only thing is that , if you ttined the inner jole a bit out of centre , the inner ring will whoble the tire a bit .

Grtz
