Too bad about the cracks, after seeing yours I got hooked! Had body for a month but we've been hit with nasty weather in the NW and ive been working storm, hopefully get to it soon. I love the way your rig looks with it. And that orange first gen is hooters too  |

Another month another update. The taco is now retired and relegated to a beater sadly. The Comanche body however is coming along nicely. Finished up working in the grill from the axial Cherokee body set. Swapped out the wheels to some VP methods and added some voodoo KLR golds, I’m a fan! Running the voodoo dual stage foams on these. Here’s a short clip from this weekend, this truck can get vertical |

I'm gonna raise this one from the dead just to say I ordered a Comanche body for my TRX-4. Partly thanks to your build. We didn't get them over here in Europe (not that I've seen anyway) but there are plenty of XJs still running around and this is kinda it... with lower CG  |

This thread was a rollercoaster of emotions. I love the way the RC4WD body looks on the TRX4. I even got the same paint color for my build. Then I read about the cracking and brittleness and am sad again. Not sure what Toyota body to go with, to be honest. |
