Traxxas wins. Everyone else might as well give up at this point. Can’t wait to buy one of these!

It's starting to feel that way. It'll be interesting to see if this lights a fire under Axial/Horizon to hurry the SCX10 III along.

Perhaps. I’ve never been more disappointed in a truck than the SCX2 Blazer I bought a couple months ago. Absolutely garbage, and I’ve owned about 5 SCX2’s. I don’t know what Axial has going on, but I have a TRX4 Bronco right now and it’s no comparison. Absolutely no comparison. The quality difference is mind boggling.

This Chevy looks killer and Traxxas has certainly earned my business. Who knew a couple years ago we’d be talking about Traxxas owning the scale market LOL

That's why my love of Axial went to disdain. The quality blows.

The USA-1 license plate has me intrigued. Would Traxxas acquire that license just for a license plate? Or do they have a USA-1 monster truck up their sleeve?

USA-1 was a Chevy marketing slogan before it was the name of a monster truck.

And on the earlier subject of the smaller mirrors, in my experience, the earlier trucks (pre-'80) tended to have them while the later ones had the big dumbo ears. I think they switched styles right around '78...

My '75 and '76 had the small ones, but my '78, '84 and '86 had the larger ones....

Will be all over this when it comes out. Apparently Traxxas is going for ALL the money, lol....

Even though intended for the RC4WD hard-body, these larger style side-views should work...

It’s probably 12.3 wheelbase but I hope they do a 12.8 too.

Right now, it seems like the competition can’t be better, but they can be cheaper. An Ascender Suburban or Redcat Gen 8 can be had significantly cheaper than a TRX 4 Bronco.

Had this Blazer been available when I was shopping, it would have been hard to pass up, but the price of my K10 Ascender was much more in line with what I was wanting to spend.

I can pretty much guarantee it's 12.3, to keep it scaled properly. The Blazer and the Bronco are pretty close to exactly the same size IRL, so it would be logical to have the Blazer on the 12.3 WB.

I love the body! I really hope the body but isn't 160 like the bronco. Would almost make sense to buy the whole kit if that's the case.

Of course, but you aren’t comparing apples to apples at all between an Ascender Suburban and a TRX-4 Bronco. Not even close. I get your point, though.

Damn. The Chevy is cooler and more expensive just like real life. I wonder why it's more expensive.

I'm still leaning towards it being because the license was more. Also the 2 tone paint job.
