Awesome to see something else they are doing with the trx4. What I really want to know does traxxas have something else up their sleeve for a new crawler. The trx4 has been welcomed very well into the market, yes I know some just don't like it because it is traxxas. But I do believe the right crawler would do great in the scale truck business.

Seems like a lost opportunity to have another great scale rig body with out the tell tale signs of visible mounts.

That's not true. The Bronco chassis comes with body pins!

I don't think we'll see another chassis anytime soon, but you never know. I'm anxious for the tracks.

I pity the fool that writes off the TRX-4 because it's a Traxxas.

What’s with the diagonal body seam from the hood down the side of the front fender? Looks like where an old school Pepsi trucks doghouse would tilt open?

You can see it in the Traxxas video too. Kind of strange that got overlooked.

The Stampede Bigfoot #1 body and the TRX4 Bronco body also have that seam. I don't know why they haven't gotten rid of it.

Many Tamiya bodies have it as well...

Lexan bodies with lots of detail such as the Chevy and Bronco also Tamiya are formed on 3 piece moulds where the centre section is removed first then the end pieces that’s how they get the under trays etc on the front and rear.

It's a mold seam. You can't get rid of it and still have all of the detailing you have on this body. The one-piece bodies without seams are much less detailed.

Other companies, notably Tamiya as was mentioned, also have mold seams.

It looks like display models are arriving at hobby shops. Several unboxings are now up on YouTube.

Yeah and some shady hobby shops seem to be selling those demos already. I hope Traxxas catches them.

Reminds me of the original K5 Vaterra Ascender. I got two of those kits.

$500 is a lot of clams. Wow. I would love to have one...just focused elsewhere for the time being. I think if I was going to buy a new rig it would be the Gen8 kit and the new Proline FJ long-wheelbase body for TRX - that would work on the redcat too. I'm not really on the market for a competition crawler - I'm set there, but another just fun-to-drive rig is always fun and interesting.

The Blazer surely looks the part.

Ok, went to LHS and got mine paid for. They have a display there and I took pics that I’ll post after dinner. Btw, cost was 479.99.

I can't tell, but are the inner fenders missing from the demo?

I wish the Blazer came before the Bronco.

No they were there. I was a little disappointed that the chrome trim was a sticker but I'm not sure what I was expecting. It's pretty thin and making it anything but a sticker wouldn't have made sense. The top is painted black as is the stripe on the side.

Gorgeous body, but it doesn’t seem like those pin strip decals will age well at all. Looks like not the best application from the factory either. Same with the paint on the topper. Kind of a shame.

I think the worst that happened with the bronco was the moldings were on the wrong side from the factory, but everything other than the two tone stickers was painted one color or bolted down.

I noticed that also. The decals could have been done a bit better and I'm not sure how nice they are going to look after rubbing against rocks, lol. The line on the top was a bit rough across the front where it touches the cab but I think they did improve over the Bronco.

I have to give Traxxas credit here. I was able to compare it to a Bronco and a Defender that were also at the store and Traxxas's bodies are getting better with every evolution.

Hey a traxxas RTR with clear windows is a big step forward for them. Two tone paint is nice too, if not clean. If they keep coming out with these crazy detailed bodies and grills then the whole hobby wins in the long run.
