I love some Fords like the new Mustang GT350 and Raptor. Old Fords are cool as well.

One thing I noticed is that the Blazer also comes with S1 compound Canyon Trail tires. The Bronco came with the standard compound. So, in theory, the tires should be much better too. Another reason for the higher price.

I just finished up playing with the new Blazer. The tires feel a little softer. Other than that not much different from the others

Yep. I'm gonna need those door handles for my Ascender body.

Now that's a handle that you could push and pull all day... or until dad threatened to smack you!

This winter I was thinking about getting the wife into this hobby and buying her a crawler/trail rig to call her own. I know she feels my Bronco was kind of spendy so I had been considering the Redcat Gen 8 as we both like scale looks. Then Traxxas comes out with this Blazer and shoots that theory all to hell. By the time I upgrade the Gen 8 I'm into TRX4 territory anyway. I might as well get a scale TRX4 and have a better truck on a proven platform. Her two favorite colors are red and black so it's like the writing is on the wall...

I'm along this same thought process right now. Looking to pick up a second rig and have been trying to be open about a Gen8 Scout II or an Axial like the new 1.9 they just announced, but I keep coming back to the worry that I'm a bit spoiled by the TRX4 platform and don't want to stray from it. Especially being able to share components across the two trucks, and I love having the two-speed. Diffs are fun too but I can't stop shredding servos for those and I'm sick of opening the sealed rx box to swap them! Plastic links and plastic frame rails on the Wraith 1.9 sounds super budget for example.

Can't go wrong with the TRX4 for a new driver especially with the options we have now. Sport RTR, sport kit, standard chassis kit, Bronco, Defender, Blazer - it's nuts. At this point I'm trying to convince myself to same some cash and get a used TRX4 off of FB marketplace and decide on either a Blazer clear body once they're out or something else entirely.

Curious to see a side by side shot the blazer next to the bronco. Two beautiful rigs

Will Blazer body be a direct fit on the Bronco chassis?

The Bronco and Blazer are the very same TRX-4. Just the bodies of course and the wheels are different. Got me an orange one coming next week off of Amazon. So now the wife has one to drive while I drive my Bronco.
