LC70 body on trx4 question

Hey guys,
I’m looking I build an LC79 body and put in on my bronco platform. I’ve removed the rear wheel wells and shocks to install a cantilever system but don’t know what to do in the front.
Do I keep the bronco wheel wells and cut them to fit? Will other TRX 4 wheel wells fot? Or do I need to buy aftermarket shock towers and completely remove the front wheel wells?

Thanks!

Don’t know if you are still trying this but I am in the process of putting a Killer Body LC70 on a TRX4 Kit. I tried trimming the front inner fenders and couldn’t get the body to sit as low as I wanted. The spots where the hood attaches hit the wheel wells and rock light holes and just held it up a little mythan I liked so I went with aluminum shock towers and lost all the stock plastic still and the servo/ battery tray.

Hey if you need any ideas I was able to get mine to sit nice and low just required a lot of trimming for the front fenders had to lose the rear fenders in total and made a simple angle shock mount for the rear endhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...6e2cd2bea4.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8975fdc730.jpg

Update:
I replaced the stock bronco front wheel wells with plastic TRX4 shock towers. Down the road I might try to modify the wheel wells to fit but for now this was cheap and easy.

You might find it easier to just build some out of styrene. That’s the route I am going, I wanted the body to sit as low as absolutely possible because of the gap between the rocker panels of the body and the side skids/ electronics trays. I am extremely anal and picky though. It would have “worked” with the stock wells trimmed but by removing them and building my own I was able to get it down pretty low. For the amount of time and money I am putting into the build I wanted it to be as close to perfect as I could get it. Any pics of your progress or build thread?

I was able to fit my lc70 over the stock fenders with a good amount of cutting.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...71f3415dab.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...3985a6adc3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...440414d796.jpg

I would perhaps use the Xtra Speed Cantilever Kit For TRX-4, because you have a brace for the frame
for Traxxas TRX-4 MST CFX #XS-TX28086, ,(XS-TX28086) by Xtra Speed Cantilever Kit
