Question Wiring nightmare solutions ???

Let's see some pics of what you guys did with all your wires!!! I'm trying to figure out what to do with my wire nightmare and need some inspiration. I have so much going on as for wires it's not even funny. It's very discouraging for me Everytime I try to attack this issue. I'm trying to fit a 6 or 8 channel (preferably 8ch) flysky Rx, CC BEC, Light controller, Rx bypass loop and all my servo wires (shift, lockers, esc) in somewhere that will still look good. Right now it looks like someone threw up colorful spaghetti under the body of my rig. I was thinking of getting a different RX box but having a hard time finding anything that will fit the 8ch Rx along with all the other stuff without ruining my COG. Any help, direction and solutions are much appreciated! Have a great day!!!!

Here's a pic of my nightmare. Don't mind the tape. I've been switching stuff around and using some leads to test stuff before I solder them permanently.
Such a mess. Kinda embarrassed for you guys to see this, but maybe it'll help you understand my frustrations

Here are pics of mine before I added the Traxxas inner fenders for my Sport body. It was a pain to get it tidy, but I'm happy with it.

This was literally the reason I'm keeping the stock radio, reciever, and if I ever change the esc will keep the little traxxas red power lead. Was thinking of spektrum as I have a DX5C. Powering my 325oz. Servo with the traxxas bec that stays in the reciever box for a clean install and running traxxas light kit. Be interesting to see peoples solutions though!

It is the Traxxas #3628 box. I use it to house my winch controller and wires. I use this style box in all of my rigs. It is sealed with an o-ring and comes with silicone grease. I have never had my equip. get wet with these. I buy these on Amazon.

Creating wire looms with cable wrap and zip-ties is the best way to sano it. Run things together what will fit, create loops with excess wires and tie them, and make loom runs where possible. Yeah, like b-mow71 did. LOL

Not nearly as many wires for stuff, same idea...

Here is a look at my VS4-10 wiring. I used the black mesh (can't remember the real name) to cover my wires before I zip-tied them.

I'm rolling a Sporto, so a few less wires to contend with. But, I've found zip ties and heat shrink to be my best friend. My Baja Rey is loaded with accessory wiring, including an engine sound system. I just try and find the best routing and then work on making manageable loops, and then zip tie and secure them to anchor points.

BTW - I "LIKE" many of the ideas above for wire/cable routing. Nice job guys!

I'm really digging all these ideas! Have definitely helped my brain get to working. Now time to put some work into all these ideas. I'll probably place everything where I want it and zip tie it till I get another Rx box for the front. Guess I'll probably go with a 6ch flysky Rx cause I don't have room for the 8ch :-( even tho I'd like to have 8.

I can't find the dimensions of this box any where. Do you mind pulling L,W & H measurements for me? Kinda tight up front on mine with that nukizer body on it.

Sure can. It is 3”L x 1-1/2”W x 1-3/8”H.

One more recommendation, to get rid of the bunches of wire, make custom length wires. For $40-60, you can get wire, connectors, and the custom crimper tool. Crimper should work for both servo connectors and jst connectors.

I've enjoyed making up my own servo and led wires. Once you get the hang of it's not too bad and they work great.
Have learned to solder too...but I always try to melt-down the motor terminals.

If my electronic is settled and tested i do a custom wiring making my own cables, using a crimp tool from hobbyking.

you mean you have a mess that's a mess

6 Ch RX (all used), Castle Link, Aux Wire, 2 RX Switches, power cable for motor fan and 3 custom Y cables for spliting channels. Still improvable but ok for now
