Trx4 lc70 build Here I post my trx4 build took about 2 days and bit of tweeking to get it mounted. I must say this my first hard body and first traxxes product as well. The body is beautiful and well built seems very tough for trailing not to worried about it falling apart. Side note my first trail run I did lose my headlight cover ( order a new one senes I had 15 bucks aias tess credit. Going to have to make sure there guled or screw in way better Bad notes I wasn't to partiel on the low end screws kill body provided. The mounting bracket feel like they will break if they bend to many times. The front bumper mounts are only needed if you order the arb bumper from Asiatess The rock sliders do feel way cheaper then trx4 ones. The front headlights fallout kinda easy be and are hard to see in muddy grass lol Lower plastic bumper needs to be removed sadly as it looks amazing Over all an amazing model and wicked the trx4 out perfomed my moded ascender even tho it was stock. It was diffently a head turner at my trail group. Re: Trx4 lc70 build That body looks a bit too small for the chassis. |

This is one of those bodies that doesn't end up looking great if its just plopped down on a chassis. Most end up sitting way too high. Model loops makes some sweet fender flares for this body that help alot with the track width and they also look heaps better than what Killerbodies offers (plus those are screwed on with literally microscopic screws and will not last long). http://www.rc4x4-shop.com/Toyota-Lan...r-Set-d259.htm |
Re: Trx4 lc70 build I know there's been nothing new in this thread for almost two years...but, I have a question. I see a "packaged" version of this body which includes the mounts for the TRX4. However, I'm REALLY confused as to what wheelbase this body is actually for. According to one site (RC World), it has a 312/313mm (12.3") wheelbase...yet, another site shows it as a 324/325mm (12.8") wheelbase. So, I contacted RC World, asking what wheelbase the body is for...and, this is the reply I received: ---------- either way its very small, and the rear bed can be spaced out farther 323mm wheelbase ---------- Talk about a 'confusing' reply. At this point, I'm a little leery about ordering from this vendor. I mean, if he/she/they doesn't/don't even know the actual wheelbase of the bodies they're selling, how much can I trust that business? Tho, this isn't about trusting, or not trusting, them...it's purely about finding out what the wheelbase it's for this body. So, what wheelbase is this body for?
