Cheap mod amazing change!!!!

So for those of you who know anything able linking and axle, you know that your oppression links should never go below 75% the length of the lower when at the same angle. Well traxxas didn’t follow that rule and it makes for a dancing pinion angle. So what I did is made a (Y) link setup and changed everything about the front pinion angle. Mark my words, as soon as the big dawg get work of this, it’ll be on the market to buy. Hell I may start making them.
It’s my favorite mod so far.

What? No offense, but all I see is now you have a lower link with a drilled hole in it that will be a weak spot.

Lol. Pinion angle stay perfect through out full travel. If you’d like I can send you a video. And yes, my link now have a hole in it, but for one it’s an over sized link and two this is a prototype type. If I wur to produce them it would be more refined, not that I feel I will have any issues what so ever. And for crawling and will have less issues with drive shafts as it creates longevity. And makes the rig run smoother.

I agree with inspector. It doesnt change or help anything. The pinion will be the same with or with out that extra link u added. I personally dont see it helpin, but rather hurtin it. Like inspector said, the hole is now a weak point...

The Upper link is too short. It creates axle wrap. That’s what it would help. It’s fairly simple. And how many links have you broken on your trx? The rod end is the weak point.

I myself am a very anal person and hate the front setup traxxas produced. I tweaked and tweaked and this has made the biggest improvement. My steering angle doesn’t change and it produces longevity.
