TRX-4 Sport- Jerky drive when at steering Max?

I have a question about my truck. It seems when I have the steering maxed out the wheels sort of get jerky and seems to pulse when at slower speed the drive lurches. It is worse on one side than the other. I notice it when I am driving around trying to make a tight turn. Being new to crawling I don't know if this is a normal trait to these types of vehicles. I posted a video to youtube.

Maybe someone could lend some advice?

Thanks.

Just limit your steering end point. Problem solved.

It's probably that stock servo asking to you to please stop lol. Those stock servos seem to be hit or miss.

Like teng said check your endpoints then take it from there.

Do you other things that may be drawing power?

If it's not the servo kicking the max you may need to cut the drive shafts.
Personally i do not have the problem on my trucks, but some of my german co owners said they cut/grind a hair off the diff end of the axle shafts, like 0.3mm.
On full steering the outer joints make the axle jiggle so it pushes into the diff, which in turn gets stuck.

This is just a stock sport model, just a few weeks old. No additions that would be taking extra power.

By endpoint adjustment, do you mean an adjustment on the truck itself, or on the radio?

That axle shaft thing sounds like it could be the culprit. I will look into that.

Endpoint adjustment usually is made in the transmitter and limits the steering travel, thus avoiding the problem.

I'm assuming you have the stock radio. You can set the endpoints in the traxxas radio.

Thanks for the link. Its the stock Sport radio that only has trim adjustment and doesn't have the menu button needed for that adjustment. Maybe my next purchase needs to be a better radio. I do have an old Spectrum Dx2 from when I raced that is setup for my Losi XXT-CR, I'll go replace the stock radio with that for the time being.

The TRX4 Sport comes with the TQ transmitter which is not programmable.

My TRX4 does the same thing at full lock left or right. Yes, it does unfortunately bind the driveline and slow the truck down. I'm running a SRT servo at 8V and Sanwa radio. I don't want to limit my much needed steering travel and am looking for alternatives too.

When I did mine I did the endpoint just enough so the knuckle wasn't binding up.
