I've been lurking here for a while, but I just have to comment on these tracks. I love that shock based rotation damper system! I made a set of adapters for some old RadioShack Mattracks, but just formed them so the portals themselves acted as rotation stops. It works, but in order to have the tracks rock for terrain changes I needed to let the adapters rotate some and I never really liked the idea of a hard adapter clunking on one side or the other of the portal as a rotation stop. If you happen to have seen my thingiverse page ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3129818 ) , you'll see that I used TPU for the adapters in the TRX-4 pictures. That was supposed to dampen the stops, but on a hard hit it didn't hold the position well enough. It was fun, but these look awesome, I may just have to buy some... |

| Re: Traxxas tracks Quote: Odd since a dealer on Facebook stated the MAP was $199. In the recent past I've seen products on the Traxxas page listed at prices higher than what stores were selling them for so maybe that's the case here. But even at $229.99 they're cheaper than the competition. | |

I just picked my Traxx today, price was $199.95. They are constructed very well, I’m extremely impressed. Should I keep the spare Beadlock tire I have installed on my sport with Traxx or remove it, opinions appreciated! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Supposedly there are going to be different types of track treads in the future, thats the rumor anyway.

Spent my Friday evening installing the Traxx on my Sport. The install is very simple, took about 10 minutes. I use stock portal covers and it looks like these will only work with the stock portal covers, the fit is tight. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Has anyone tried these with portal weights such as SSD brass outer portal weights? Just curious if they would fit. Thanks
