New from Traxxas with Traxx. Or is it a Traxx Traxxas? Either way, $569 gets you a TRX4 Sport RTR with tracks in either blue or orange. ![]() Amain has them listed but no pics or preorder yet. https://www.amainhobbies.com/traxxas...4-blue/p982906 https://www.amainhobbies.com/traxxas...4-orng/p982905 Last edited by svt923; 06-14-2019 at 07:15 AM. |

What am I missing..... Sport rtr is $340, tracks are $200. You get tires and tracks for less than this.

Id rather put paddles on my rock rey than drive around on tracks at 2 mph in the snow. Im not even positive these would float on the champagne snow we get here. Super dry, super low density fluff. |

It's freaking awesome! I'd just buy the Traxx myself, but this is a cool option. It also looks mean unlike the other brand tracks with their blinged out aluminum parts. |

Got to handle the new Sport Traxx RTR last night, at my lhs. It's hefty, with decent low cog. After all, those tracks are over 2 lbs! At first I wasn't interested, and I still think they're best for wintertime exploration, but I wouldn't mind trying some on my Defender, especially if I could get up to one of the mountain passes and find some remaining snow patches to drive around on. My opinion is that some sort of forward cab body would look best, like a Mighty FC(except its wheelbase is too short), or a custom semi truck cab build(?), or anything else that might resemble a snowcat. Even the Tactical body looks better with Traxx, compared to the Sport pickup body. Maybe I'll get a clear Tactical body and paint it orange or red(red/white, or red/ylw), or something. ![]() Here’s some inspiration! http://www.mattracks.co/media/photos/ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk Last edited by johnnyluv; 07-12-2019 at 01:29 PM. |

My local hobby shop had the traxx on sale for around $130 or so (ultimate hobbies in orange, california). Only one left.
