| Joining the Trx4 family............finally.
So I lucked into too good of a deal last night and hit the lotto. Not the actual lotto but I picked up a slightly used trx4 bronco. Finally, after months of trading around I caught a good deal. So now its time to read read read read and learn what I can do and what I need to do to make it more awesome and more mine. It came without a motor or motor mount but I have motors and ordered the mount so I'm on my way. Planning on running stock for a moment then switching over to a 1080 and Holmes Hobby 27t motor. Going to pick up a new pinion this weekend so Sunday good willing I'll be able to get it out and see what she'll do. I've heard so much about these so had to grab it. I mean $150 bucks is too good to pass up. Well here's some pics for now and I'll post more as I update and upgrade. Thanks. 150 bucks and only missing the motor and mount sounds like a great deal to me! Looks to be in pretty good condition too. Planned uppies sound good too. I just put in a HH 27T as well with a 9T pinion but ended going back too 11 as the higher turn count and smaller pinion just reduced the speed a lil to much for me. Welcome to the family! Well I finally made it out to the comp course to do some testing. Pretty impressed with it for being mostly stock. I think I'll be changing my steering servo soon and then rx/tx. I put a 1080 with the Holmes 27t and 9t pinion. Seems to have good speed and torque. Here's some pics from the day. Sent from my SM-G930R4 using Tapatalk |
