Default Urban Assault Tracked Vehicle

I put the Traxx on the Bronco and it just didn't seem right. So I ordered all the parts for the Tactical Unit body and swapped out the Bronco parts.

Rubs a tiny bit on the rear fenders but Dr. Dremel will cure that.

I was never a fan of the Tactical Unit version of the TRX-4 but I think THIS is what Traxxas had in mind when they developed the Traxx. It just works with the military style body

Completely agree that the Traxx look best with the Tactical body (was never a fan of this body style.) Too bad they rub on the fenders. Does that mean the Traxx would rub on the Defender body as well? I gather you have to cut the body or get the lift kit if you don't want any rubbing with the Traxx installed.

Not sure about the Defender body. They did not rub on the Bronco when it was on there. I dont mind trimming the Tactical body. It will never run with anything but these tracks so modding it for the tracks is okay with me.

These tracks are a fun!

Baller. Exactly what I was planning to do! Although I was going to use the Traxx as an excuse to buy another TRX4 of the Tactical variety. :p

I wonder if setting it up with the longer wheelbase (12. would give better clearance with the trax rather than trimming the body. Just a thought.

Yeah I considered doing long arms in the rear but I like the stance how it is.

I'm assuming you're not selling the Bronco body right? I'm interested if you are.

The tracks definitely do make the Tactical a lot more attractive - it's always been the odd one out. I think the tracks look great on the Sport body as well, it sort of has a futuristic snowmobile/arctic rig kind of look. IMO they don't vibe well on the Bronco/Blazer bodies at all.

I agree with you on the Sport body. Artic rig thing is a good description.
