Traxx ratio compared to wheels

Anyone know the ratio of the tracks compared to having normal wheels on the rig. It'd be awesome to run tracks on the back and wheels on the front. Thanks

Measure the OD of the tires and the OD of the drive sprocket. Calculate the percent difference between them and that will give you an indication of the difference needed in gearing. I suspect the drive sprocket will be very close to running a conventional wheel with no tire mounted.

Alright thanks. Also quick question, what do you think the best way to get the gearing matched would be?

The tracks are geared down a lot. Almost three to one. In my video here at 4:49 I test the speed...

Do you think if I put ud in the front and od gears in the back it'll act like having overdrive in the front with the tracks on the back?

I think run one or the other. The tracks rob power and probably run best at slower speeds. I'm not sure how they would hold up to higher speeds. It would take a stronger brushless motor. The stock motor would have over heating issues...

Oh alright. Thanks for that. I probably would have broken my motor otherwise [emoji23]
