Well previously the "limited edition" TRX4 just had tinted windows, unique body color and color-matched wheels. They don't seem to do any parts changes.

It's $20 more for the matte paint according to my LHS. NOTHING else different. I pre-ordered the black one today. Don't like the way the black fender flares on the silver body looks anyway.

The silver one is painted grey inside and out. So when you scratch it, it will still be grey underneath hardly showing , and the body stripes are hand painted too. Hence the slightly higher price

I was checking them out last night. I was impressed that the body trim is actually separate from the lexan body.

I've been out of crawling for a few years but a buddy just got a TRX-4 and then the TRX-6 comes out to suck me back in. I think I'm heading to HobbyTown after work to preorder the silver one.
