| Defender to Blazer body issues
OK, in the last thread I asked what was needed for a swap from the rtr Defender body to the new 1979 Blazer body. I purchased the body and the long to short wheelbase kit. The wheelbase kit will be here by Friday. In the mean time I reversed the rear shock mounts which brought the rear body mount into perfect alignment with the Blazer body. My issue is with the shock angle. The reversal of the shock towers has caused the top of the shocks to lean back a bit. Is this OK? The Blazer body really looks good so far. I just need new front and rear bumpers after I get the wheelbase converted. Last edited by RABIDFOX; 09-03-2019 at 09:49 AM. |

Until you shorten the rear links there will be some leaning. It's okay to have some lean in the rear shock angle. Sent from my FRD-L14 using Tapatalk |
