| Re: Greatscott's TRX-6 That's cool, awesome job on the bed!!! I am really hoping Traxxas comes out with a TRX6 builder's kit with no body or electronics. I want to do a military-style 6x6 or 8x8 based on the TRX6, but don't want to drop unneeded money on the parts and pieces I am not going to use. |

Thank you. I am already filling up a box of stock parts. I was tempted to do a logger or military style myself.

| Re: Greatscott's TRX-6 Thank you. I Knew I had to get into this hobby when a friend lent me one of her rigs. After 3 hrs blew by on her 2 acres of trials motorcycle rock playground...I had to have one....now two...now three...

With that, having seen both rigs in side-by-side action, I do like the TRX6 version better. The body aside, it is just all-around beefier, and seems to be more capable of a platform. Before running the two rigs together, I was thinking about my next project being based on the Axial rig because it is a simpler design and costs less. But, I have changed my mind, and my project will be built off of the TRX6. | |

Thanks for the link to this build, GreatScott! I suffered a catastrophic failure on my third run out (technically, end of my second) when the motor burned up. Unfortunately, there aren't many of these builds threads out here, so I will be bookmarking yours, though you're far deeper into it than I ever intend to be. I just wish they'd release more bodies, I am not fab guy and a flatbed would be killer. Beautiful build! |
