How much for your dog? :ror: He is beautiful.

I especially like the slow-mo bits in your vid. It's cool to get a chance to really see the suspension articulating and undulating"thumbsup" Real time doesn't really capture it.

I did catch the water as your exiting the picture. Again, likely not noticeable in real-time. The warped sounds are interesting as well. In my mind, the sound generates a sense of realism. Like the sound of a compressing coil-over or stressed steel might make. What are you using as an editor?

Gotcha. I am a computer novice., I am sure something like that would give me fits. My kid and I played around with a free editor some time back (VSDC?) but I wasn’t overly impressed with it, but we lost access anyway. The idea of editing pretty much disappeared with it.

Apparently there should be something in Windows 10. If I can find it I will give it a go one day when I have some time. All I am really after is some basic features that allow my to piece video clips together, create transitions and perhaps some slow motion. If you have any ideas, direction would be appreciated.

The Windows Photos app is somewhere between an abomination and just okay for trimming and piecing together video. It lacks some basic features for no apparent reason, like transitions, but those are overused by the unwashed masses anyway. With Photos you can quickly add a soundtrack and graphics. Easy learning curve. Just make sure to close it and reopen it now and then, as it gets stuck all the time.

Shotcut? Shortcut?

I will look for it. Appreciate the advice, thank you.

Picked up the underdrive ring & pinion set for the rear differential today. Just finished installing them. Gotta say, breaking down the TRX4 is a treat. The quality put into this rig just makes the overall experience of working on it pure pleasure. As much as I resisted the X4 early on after it's release simply because it was a Traxxas, I am sure glad I gave in.

While unnecessary, the parts come packaged with aesthetically pleasing presentation

Couldn't agree more. I have gone from Traxxas detractor to fanboy.

Thanks for the lead, I played around with the editor a bit

I am on single speed transmission with locked differentials. Brushless, sensored with a 2700kv Puller Pro. No issues to speak of.

Also have the stock Sport RTR that comes with Traxx on it. It’s a lot slower being brushed, but gets the job done.

It looks great! I am guessing it’s gonna hit the market?

I think it’s hilarious how you put my rigs in the photo. It gave me a puzzled moment...

I dunno, maybe you can see Buffalo New York on a clear day.

That escarpment is a cool feature. We simply don’t have anything like that nearby. There is one a few hours west of here in Riding Mountain National Park, but I rarely get there.

Looks like a ton of fun! I recently got my own Traxx to try. I just hope we get some snow so that I can have fun in the white stuff. This weekend it was crazy and unseasonably in the 60's! It felt like spring. Bring on the snow!

The instructions that come with the Traxx tell you specifically to not to run it in second gear with stock stuff.

.

You will love it! They make snow something to look forward to.

A most important thing to remember is to put your rig outside to completely cool down before you load up a batt and run it. If you throw the rig into the snow when it’s still warm you risk melting and refreezing snow in the Traxx mechanism that mates with the rubber. It’s a quick way to kill the buzz:ror:

Hands up if you know what I'm talking about.

:ror: I don't have a dog, so dog parks aren't amongst my crawl spots. But yeah, spring reveals no shortage of fecal landmines around here.

A winter specific compound for crawlers could be brilliant. Definitely would be some considerations to weigh in the tire tread design as well.
