Should I buy Traxx for my TRX-4 Sport? Winter is coming  and I'm thinking of picking up a set of Traxx for my TRX-4 Sport People who have them: - Are they worth the cost? - How do they handle vs normal wheels/tires? - Easy to maintain and repair? - Anything else I should be considering????? I've been seeing some pop up for sale and am curious if they are actually worth it, or if they are just the "cool thing" right now I need some unbiased opinions |
Re: Should I buy Traxx for my TRX-4 Sport? I don't think they were ever the cool thing. I would say there gimmicks. They might do ok in the snow. But for dry ground tires all the way. There is a video I saw of the Trax driving around a yard on a narrow ledge. The thing looked way too tall a tippy for me. Probably terrible cog on these. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk |
Re: Should I buy Traxx for my TRX-4 Sport? I've never used the Traxx but I had a set of tracks for my scaler a while back. They were neat for a little bit but not worth the $ IMO. |
Re: Should I buy Traxx for my TRX-4 Sport? Lot of low down weight, great for crawling and rough stuff. Be different! |
Re: Should I buy Traxx for my TRX-4 Sport? Picked up a like-new set off Facebook for $130, very happy with them Can't wait for snow  https://i.imgur.com/7TQV6l6.jpg?1 |
Re: Should I buy Traxx for my TRX-4 Sport? They look amazing. I'd like a set for no reason other than they look amazing lol |
Re: Should I buy Traxx for my TRX-4 Sport? I thought they required the upgraded steering servo & metal horn. I’d like to see a TRX-6 version so the 2 rear axles don’t interfere. |
