| Front clicking noise
Hi all, my TRX4 Has developed a clicking noise in the front end. Whenever both wheels are on the ground and moving I can hear it. However, if I hold the truck and give it throttle while lifting one front wheel off the ground it goes away. It doesn’t matter which side. Would this be in the axle ring & pinion? Thanks in advance Last edited by twentyniner; 10-28-2019 at 05:59 PM. |

Could be a nearly shot bearing in the front end as well. Only way to tell if it's really the ring and pinion is to take them out and look.

Thanks, will do that when I can. It’s a weird noise, more like plastic clicking than a metal sound. But I’ve never stripped anything before, (first crawler) so have no frame of reference.

Could also try checking your gear mesh, and making sure your driveshafts screws are parallel with eachother. That fixed mine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
