Sport Foams

For the longest time now it looked like all 4 of my tires were flat. Today I broke them down and the foams were in pieces. They are black. Is it normal for these foams to break down so easily? I put the tires on a set of Redcat Gen 7 PRO wheels and foams and they turned out great...……...Just wondering if anyone else had these foams go bad so soon.

Did you run them wet?
Mine last a long time never had any shred.

Dual stage foams are the way to go though.

What VoodooBrew said...a few times fully saturated (creeks are my favorite crawls) and the stock foams disintegrate.

First thing I do is seal the holes in rims. When I upgraded my wheels I kept the excellent tires and bought proline dual stage foams 1.9xl. Transformed side hilling and general grip.

I was surprised when I took the Redcat Gen 7 Pros apart and found the foams in good shape beings it was my first truck and did a lot of dirty wheeling with it.

This has all been discussed complete with pictures. Spend some time reading through the wheel and tire section.
