Default Transmission rebuild.

OK so I've rebuilt my transmission. Lots of swearing and walking away to come back to it. 2 years of mud and water had done there worst with several broken bearings and brown grease everywhere. Soni cleaned her up, dremeled a lot of bearings rusted to the shaft and rebuilt her. Anyways, I've yet to fit the motor but I seem to have a freewheel point between high and low ratios which I never had before. Any thoughts on this guys? It never seemed to have a dead spot before was always engaged.

As there's no clutch, there needs to be space between Hi and Lo, so that's normal.

Cheers mate, sounds daft but apart from driving it I've never payed much attention until I'd rebuilt it.

You would only notice when shifting manually (while reworking as you did) or with a defective Servo or Rx/Tx.
The shift servo is either Hi or Lo and travels through the "neither zone" pretty fast.

Use PB Blaster and wait a bit to get those bearings out. Blaster also rejuvenates plastic very nicely
