Has $1,500 been verified?

Looks to be a TRX-4 with new wheels, tires and body.

This makes more sense than when they released the Snap-On van-bodied X-Maxx...

Well, to be fair, $1,500 doesn't seem like that much when you lump it in to tens of thousands you already owe the Snap-On man, haha!

I can't beleive somebody went through the trouble to turn those two photos into a YouTube video.

I don't own the Snap-On many anything! LOL My brother-in-law wants to buy something for his toolbox so if he does, and this truck isn't $1,500, I'll have one.

I think it's, by far, the coolest Traxxas Snap-On special edition.

That reminds me of the guy who made a crawler out of the Xmaxx Snap-on van body. 16.7 inch wheelbase for maximum breakover clearance.

Maybe we will be able to buy it for one third of the price when they release the generic bodied version in two months...

That looks awesome I would carry one of my rally cars on there , but $1500 bucks is ridiculous and I stopped buying Snap On tools.

I am certain there are several members on this forum that could make a better looking and more capable rig out of a TRX-6 and sourced/fabbed parts for $1500.

The detailing of the Snap-On version looks cheap and toy-like IMHO...

I was told today by a Snap-On man that it comes free with a $22,000 toolbox.

I'm out.

Jato: Yeah, I've heard.. I got some contacts I've poked with some requests.. I know, like durok is saying, lots of people may build better rigs than that, but I'm not one of them..
So I'll at least check my contacts about it, it'll probably not happen' but I feel like checking my chances at least..

Maybe .... just maybe I could see $1500 .... IF ...

The bed actually slid backward and down;
Had a working winch to haul a load onto bed;
Had light kit & light bar with yellow flashers & white flood lights;

that were all controlled from the transmitter.

Even then, wheelbase does still need extended some.

Just a few days ago I was brainstorming about a working rollback using a TRX6 - I'm always a day late (and $1500 short)!

I want to see what my snap on guy says when he starts coming back to work now that the holidays are done. I still wouldn't buy one. Maybe my snap on guy would feel sorry for me a donate one to my collection.
