Very cool! What did you use to make the whip antenna?

The whip antenna comes from a cat toy that I found at the dollar store. It had a plastic handle with rod in the middle and feathers on the end. I cut out the center bit and made a mount for it. The tool box comes from Michael's craft store. They have a section for scale doll furniture and you would be surprised at the stuff they have. Scale shovels, axes, garden tools, etc... |

Funny you mention the doll house idea, was just looking at the very same, at hobby town. pep Last edited by JacktheRipper; 01-14-2020 at 04:54 AM.

Anyone have a link to a Red siren bar that is not too expensive? Something that is used on a fire truck or an emergency vehicle. |

Yes. I saw that yesterday and the light bar looks amazing... one problem though is that the price + shipping in U.S funds makes that light kit very expensive in Canada. With the exchange it comes out to 72$ CAD. |

Another idea might be to pick up a simple light kit from AsiaTees.com and find a toy police / fire engine with a light bar and make your own from that. I haven't ordered from asiatees.com but several in here have and I believe have had good luck. Last edited by MidTCrawler; 01-17-2020 at 10:43 PM.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/4-8-6V-Poli...0AAOSwa0VZ8ACf Under $20 Canadian, shipping included. Took 10 days from date of order to my doorstep. Only thing they don't have is the Red-Blue combo. I'm happy with it, ran for 10 hours continuous, 3 days in a row. By the way, I also have the "orange" I'll be using on another build but it is more amber/yellow then orange. Tested it but no more time on it than that.

Hi, That is exactly what I ordered a few weeks ago. I also managed to find a single Orange light - the kind installed on tow trucks years ago. ProjektONE, I'll try and get more pics tonight. |

Do you have a close up of how you made the mount? I bet it looks pretty cool out of the trail. My brother had a YJ a few years ago that had a big CB whip on the rear. Made it look like it was wagging its tail as it was moving. It made me smile when I was behind him as it looked like the Jeep was happy as it hit bumps. |

I guess I am not familiar with the end that would be on a guitar string. Did you use a bolt coming up through the bumper into a threaded end?
