Was able to scoop up the servo and install the electronics!!

The motor wires on the Castle slate are super long. I braded them to help take up some of the slack. It is working fine.
I could see it being an issue with bashers or speed run cars moving more power and creating a lot more heat.
QUESTION:
Has anyone experienced issues braiding their motor wires like I have on a sensored brushless crawler motor?

We made it to the 801RC Comp. Really it is more of a gathering. There is an Ultra class but from there it's "Run what ya Brung"
With Sawyer in a chair we don't hit the gates anyway. We hang at base camp and hit the obstacles there.
I think someone had a pretty good time!!

Lunch Break!!

Those Milestar Patagonias really suit the rig, I'll bet with 6 of those there's loads of traction!

Nice build, what are the largest tires you think would fit in the rear? I have interco boggers at 5.4" but it looks like I'd need to increase the distance between the axles to squeeze them in there.

Looks like you guys are having a great time at the comp, that's awesome. Lots of trucks, food and some good times thats what its all about. Truth is makes me a little jealous, I've been dying to get out lately. My schedule is so full I dont get much time lately. And I've been trying to build up my trx4 before I head out.

Wow, looks like you and Sawyer had a great time. Based on the way he is dressed I'd say it was a little cold out. just stating the obvious right.

I would say 4.7 Tall 1.9's would be the largest without major modification. I say major as I had to do minor trimming to the flares to make the 4.7's fit without rubbing the body and to keep the front's from puling the body out of the sliders.

We really did!!
The clouds were supposed to roll in mid-morning so we dressed for it for sure. We got lucky and the sun stayed out and it was in the upper 40's. Never even had to put on our heavy jackets!!
It was a Banner day!!

Sawdawg driving the Bronco!!
If you look close you'll see he drives completely one handed. Sawyer's fine motor skills in his right arm don't work very well so he puts his left to work.

Me and Saw snuck away and hit Grandpa's water fountain real quick last weekend. Perfect time of year as it is shut down for the winter!!

Added TRX-4 Sport bumpers to the TRX6. Huge help with approach and departure angles!!

Swapped out the TRX6 mirrors for a set off a TRX4 Defender. These seem to fit in better to me and they are more flexible than the stock sedan mirrors Traxxas went with....

Green Slimed the x-rings and filled the shocks with 20w up front and 25w in the rear's. Stock TRX6 suspension was sooo stiff and the stiction on the shocks was the worst of any of my other TRX platforms.

That’s a really cool picture. The amount of light the rig gives off is crazy.

Awesome that traxxas actually included usable led lights instead of something for looks.

You could walk the dog at night with that.
