Default New body

So I decided to replace my blazer body. I bought the proline 78 Chevy K-10 body and the back half cage. Also a set of Samix shock mounts. I知 looking to hinge the body in the rear and use magnetic mounts for the front. Anyone else hinge their body? I知 looking for ideas without spending $38 on the hinge mount from Shapeways.

Ive got the PL f250 cab n used the axial 55 ford cage. It has the hinge mount, but i also had to do some customizing to get it to fit. Its not hard to do though. Where i cut the cage, i drilled it to thread the mount screws.

For the cage its hinged with 2 zip ties. And body is held in place with body pins.

I just used bronco fenders both front and rear. Not stock on a tactical unit trx4 which is how it started before the Chevy and cage
