Default New TRX4 in the making

After some research I decided to get the TRX4 Chassis Kit for my next build. It arrived on Monday & I have been spending hours a day putting it together. Currently I have the chassis built minus the axles. Replaced the stock servo with a T-Pro MG958. Today I decided to use the Hobbywing 1080 esc while I was at it. Figured I’d sell the XL5 to recoup some of cost of the HW1080. Also won’t be using the stock wheels, they will be replaced with some 8 hole beadlocks. I’ll keep building until I run out of parts until the rest of my parts arrive.

Congrats! The TRX-4 is one of the best builds you'll ever experience. Post up some photos.

Out of the many different kits that I've ever built over the years from various manufacturers, the trx4 kit was the absolute best and most thorough kit that I've ever built. Traxxas has by far the best manual I have ever seen.

This is as far as I have gotten so far

Using these beadlock wheels with the stock Canyon tires

Your right Max-D this is by far the best kit I have built to date. There were a couple of places where I had trouble figuring out the pictures but I'm thinking it was my crappy old eye with the problem. The plastic seems to be much higher quality than the Axial kits I have built. I was also impressed with the frame rails, very heavy & stiff, I think the metal is thicker than others too.

Yep the TRX-4 is as high quality as it gets.

And the stock tires are actually good.
