New TRX-4 Sport RTR Coming
 

I ordered a new trx-4 rtr sport. It is coming soon hopefully. I seen youtube videos of it and it looks like it performs good stock. I have owned 4 other scale crawlers before. A axial scx-10, scx-10 ii , exceed barriage and vattera ascender. I've owned over 20 to 30 rcs so far some hobby grade and some not.

The TRX4 is actually right in line with the other rigs you have owned. The portals really make the rig different, and due to the reduction at the axles, has a lot less torque twist.

Normally I'd say to drive it before you start throwing aftermarket parts on, but one of the best out-of-the-box investments is a set of portal weights.

I think you will be pleased with the TRX4 once you have had some time with it. Be prepared to replace the steering servo and plastic servo horn as they are known weak links. Other than that have fun!

Yes the trx4 is a great truck. It really surprised alot of people when it hit te market of how great it was. Also made axial step up the game with the realse of the scx10iii. It's a great platform and tons of aftermarket parts out there. You won't be disappointed. I really love my trx4. Makes me want to get the blazer version of it one day.
