Stripped shift dog in TRX-6

I managed to strip second gear off of the shift dog (#8289) in my TRX-6 and i was wondering if anybody here know if somebody made a metal version?

That looks like driver error. How fast were you going when you shifted the transmission?

I'll admit I've shifted very stupidly at full throttle as have friends but my personal TRX4 has held up to it many, many times. The 6x6 should put a bit more stress on the dogs but I cant entirely agree with blaming it on driver error.

EDIT:
though this has always been on an upshift and not the other way around.

Replace with stock, shift smarter and you should be good is what I should have said, its durable but maybe not that durable.

That is from many full throttle upshifts on 3s with a castle slate 3800kv motor. I just never want to have to open up the transmission again.

Ive never seen a metal version.

If you had a metal dog and you continue to shift hard it would be transmitting a greater load and likely putting greater stresses on other parts downstream. So while this may keep the dogs alive it may come at the detriment of other parts and in the end you may just have to tear something else apart for repairs.

The plastic dogs absorb and dampen the shock transmitted likely making it more reliable.

If you were able to find a metal shift dog you would just move the weak point somewhere else inside the transmission. Seems like changing your driving technique would be a better option.
