Sport expedition rack mods
 

Has anyone done anything cool with the expedition rack? I kind of want to use it somehow since it came with the kit but i dont really like how it looks like a canopy. If you have any ideas or pictures of mods done id love to see them!

I copied Harley from the scale builders guild budget trx build. I left the bed caps, vertical next to the cab and rack on the roof. I left the mount for the high lift Jack and mounted up the extinguisher. I’ll post up a pic when I get off in the morning.

Hahaha. I guess forest green is more popular than I thought. I did my barrage the same color. I had some regrets cutting the rack but as soon as it was back on the truck I was digging it.

If I were going to do this I would cut the rear off like Harley did leaving the top rails intact in the front. Then with a little heat bend them down to meet the bed when in the desired place mark and cut off the excess. That way you have only one attachment point to the bed rails.

Trust me BMOW. If it hadn't been wierd id have just copied your truck entirely [emoji12] LOL. Im still considering cutting up the rack into a roll bar but ive only had the truck for 6 days so it just feels wring to start hacking away at it.
