Free easy Steering imporvment

I went to a comp over the weekend with some really talented and experienced drivers and high end rigs. I got my ass handed to me which I expected. I looked at it more like practice and an adventure in learning than a competition.

I suppose we all know Over Drive will help with steering. it seems 30% is the minimum for these people. I have overdrive for the front but will I add underdrive to the rear. I will end up with about 24% total.

BUT what I did not know and in case other here don't is you can GREATLY increase you turning radius for free. More negative caster. A little bit goes along way. I suppose at some point you could have other issues if you go to far.

That does not sound right. I have never seen a situation where negative caster is a good thing. In my experience you always want positive caster.

Try it out. It will only take a couple of minutes and you can easily change it back.

No thanks. I prefer my trucks to handle well and be stable going straight.

It goes perfectly straight, I only crawl with this truck but there may be some issues if you do higher speed stuff but for crawling it's doing just fine.
