Trx6 rock light remote on off switch wiring

I bought the rock light kits. I bought a remote on/off switch to turn them off/on from my tx. My question is how to wire them. Should I power the switch directly through the rx and run separately from the trx light system, or do I cut the red power wire on the switches rx lead, tap in line to the rock light harness and into the trx booster light box thingy?

I haven’t played with my light setup yet but I would pull the cover off the rx power everything up and unplug the red wire if your rock lights turn off(they should) then you know that’s your on power and is just run the on off switch inline and in the box with the rest of the wiring, if it can fit

Got some stuff in the mail, still no 3s packs yet. The M8s works great. Gonna do an urban night run tonight. I'm gonna try to vid some of it. If it comes out ok I will post a vid .https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...20612e6299.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...2ad065a472.jpg

Put in my hp007r receiver. A hair smaller than the tqi rx. Happy that everything neatly tucked back into the box, and servo wire routing stayed clean. I did need a 3" servo extension for the ds3225 servo. The connection sits right outside of the rx box. Do I need to waterproof that connection?
